Nativity - Wise Man with Frankincense - Ebony Visions figurine
The Wise Man with Frankincense is part of Thomas Blackshear's 13-piece Nativity set. Blackshear created The Nativity for The Blackshear Circle collector club. Since 1997, the club has introduced emotionally impactful sculpture, but none more powerful than the Nativity series. Shedding a new perspective on this biblical scene, Thomas Blackshear captures the reverence and tender emotion of the event.

The Wise Man bears the gift of frankincense to the Christ child in honor of his birth, humbly presenting his offering on bended knee. As stated in Matthew 2: 9-11: "... the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. ... they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts."
