Fred Mathews was born in Chicago, Illinois and he graduated from Dunbar Vocational High School at the head of his class; majoring in Commercial Art and Fine art. Although this is Fred's only formal education in art, Mathews uses his natural talents to combine acrylic and oils with his advanced air brushing skills to create modern urban positive images.
