Our Layaway plan provides an
easy and economical way to make purchases on It's A Black
Thang.com. Below are the guidelines:
1. The minimum order is $300
(this does not include the shipping or the processing fee).
2. The processing fee is $20 and it is non-refundable. The
shipping chart is on the layaway order form.
3. The length of the layaway is
60 days.
4. Your payment will be divided
into three equal payments.
5. You can pay by credit card,
debit card, check, or money order.
6. The initial payment is due
when you place your order. Your second payment will be due
30-days later and the last payment will be due 30-days after
that. For example: if you place your order on Aug 1 the first
payment will be due on Aug 1, the second will be due on Sept 1
and the final payment will be due on Oct 1.
7. You can cancel your layaway
at any time. However, you will only receive 80% of your
payments as a refund but you can get 100% of your payments
as an in-store credit.
Order Process:
1. Print our layaway order form
then browse through our site and fill out the order form with
the items you want to put on layaway.

2. After entering the items,
complete your order form by calculating your total (including
the $20 processing fee and the shipping) and providing your
billing and shipping information.
3. Divide the total amount by
three and mail your first payment and the order form to us at
Kanes Publications

Make all payments payable to Kanes Publications. (Please give
us a call at 866-444-8413 before mailing your order form so we
can make sure you understand everything and confirm product
availability.)
4. We will not send you a bill
for the 2nd or 3rd payments. We will only contact you if we
don't receive your payments in a timely manner.
5. If you're paying with a
credit card, you will have to give us a call and provide your
credit card information again for your 2nd and 3rd payments. (We
do not keep credit card information on file.)
